Lauren Liu – Research Technician

I am a Research Technician working alongside Professor Clare Lloyd and Professor Philip Molyneaux.

I obtained an MSc in Molecular Biology at LMU Munich. Before joining the Lloyd Lab, I worked for two years as a Research Assistant in Renal Medicine at The University of Hong Kong and two years as a Graduate Assistant at the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology.

I have extensive experience in mouse work, and my current role involves in vivo models of lung disease, as well as tissue collection and downstream sample processing. 

In addition, I am responsible for biobanking operations, including freezer inventory, sample intake, tracking, and storage. I also coordinate human specimen access and distribution with both internal and external collaborators.
