I am currently investigating the functions of airway macrophages, specifically their phagocytic capabilities, in the context of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). My experimental work involves the use of clinical samples from the Royal Brompton Hospital where I isolate macrophages, characterise them and assess their function.  I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2021 with an MBiolSci in Medical Microbiology. Having undertaken an industrial placement year at AstraZeneca, Cambridge in 2021, where my research also focused on IPF, I joined the Lloyd Lab at Imperial under the primary supervision of Phil Molyneaux.
