During this time, my project aimed to delineate the interactions between immune cells and lung epithelial cells in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and chronic lung injury. By integrating single-nucleus sequencing technologies with murine lung injury models, this research provided a unique opportunity to identify and characterise distinct subpopulations of alveolar type I cells across both acute and chronic lung injury.<\/p>\n<p>In 2026, I joined the Lloyd Lab as a postdoctoral researcher.
