Rob Oliver – Technician

I completed my undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia in 2013. Following completion of my studies I started work at a small contract research company specialising in lung immunology. During this time I assisted in the running of many disease models including models of influenza exacerbated asthma, acute lung injury and RSV infection. In late 2015 I made the switch to an academic environment and became a research technician in Clare Lloyd’s lab. In my current post I have worked on various different projects and provided key technical support to new staff and students. I have an interest in many aspects of the immune response but have currently been working with innate lymphoid and T cells investigating how they contribute to allergic asthma both in adults and early life.
