Lisa Gregory – Research Manager
I am the research manager for Clare Lloyd’s team focusing on the mechanisms governing initiation and persistence of preschool wheeze and asthma. We adopt a translational approach integrating murine and human patient studies. My particular interests are on the role of epithelial cells in driving disease and the interaction of immune cells with the epithelium.
I obtained a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Manchester (1991-1995) and was a visiting research scholar at The University of Nevada, Reno (1995-1996). I then studied for my PhD in Toxicology from the University of Aberdeen (1996-2000) before taking up my first postdoctoral position at Imperial College London working in the gene therapy group. I joined the Lloyd team in 2005.
